Traveling to Sønderborg

By plane:

Sønderborg Airport (SGD) → Located approximately 7 km from Sønderborg city centre. From the airport, take a taxi to the city or connect to local bus services.

​

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) → Take a direct train from CPH Lufthavn station to Sønderborg station.

​

Billund Airport (BLL) → Take a short bus ride with a switch to a direct train or bus to Sønderborg station. 

​

Aarhus Airport (AAR), Aalborg Airport (AAL) → Take a train connection to Sønderborg station. 

​

Hamburg Airport (HAM), Germany → Take a direct train to Flensburg, with a switch to a bus or train to Sønderborg station.

EPHyC Venue

EPHyC 2027 will take place at Hotel Sønderborg Strand, located at Strandvej 1, 6400 Sønderborg.

​

The hotel is situated directly on the beach, just 250 metres from the city centre.

 

It is also within easy walking distance of Sønderborg train station, approximately 20 minutes along the waterfront.
