2026 edition

The third edition of the EPHyC conference brought together 143 PhD researchers from 15+ institutions across Europe in Trondheim, Norway.

Organised and primarily financed by Hydrogen Europe Research and strengthened by the sponsorship of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, the event continues to empower the next generation of hydrogen researchers.

EPHyC 2026 was held in connection with the H2science Conference, bringing two major events together under one roof. This unique link offered participants an unparalleled opportunity to expand their networks, discover fresh perspectives, and spark new interdisciplinary collaborations.

The success of the event was driven by a talented team of PhD students who led abstract reviews, curated the programme, and ensured smooth on-site operations with exceptional professionalism.
