About Trondheim

Academic Excellence in a Historic Setting

Roughly halfway between the North and the South of Norway lies Trondheim, a beautiful city known for its friendly locals, the Trøndere in Norwegian. Here, Viking history blends with a young and creative atmosphere.

A key highlight of the city is the iconic Nidaros Cathedral, a national landmark, while the state-of-the-art museum PoMo is among several cultural attractions that have put Trondheim firmly on the map.

It is home to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and several leading research centres (such as HYDROGENi), making it an important hub for technology and energy research.

The city combines a dynamic academic environment with a rich cultural heritage and a unique natural setting, offering both a professional and welcoming atmosphere for international events.
